Prenatal Yoga

Prenatal Yoga is a great way to stay in shape during Pregnancy and to prepare for childbirth. Both physically and mentally I would say. For me “surrender” was a keyword both in pregnancy, childbirth and as it turns out as a mother (surrender to all the changes your body is going through and love them, surrender to the awesome forces during childbirth, and the fact that it might not happen the way you planned it, and then surrender to motherhood, the best job in the world!)

Except for the physical advantages of being strong and flexible, wonderful side effects of practicing yoga, attending a prenatal or post partum class at a local studio also offers you a great way to meet other Mamas, who are likely to become part of your great community of women and mothers and who will never grow tired of sharing tips, ideas and experiences. I think everybody needs a prenatal yoga class to go to….
